Oriental

The Oriental fragrance family is typically comprised of sensual, rich and complex scents containing blends of sweet vanilla, resins, spices and amber. Oriental fragrances are quite often mixed with refreshing citrus, green or fruity scents, while softer variations of orientals are blended with floral and powdery notes. A strong and robust fragrance family, Oriental scents include Floral Oriental, Soft Oriental, Oriental and Woody Oriental.   Floral Orientals are feminine and exotic with a mix of orange flower, vanilla, white pepper

and sweet spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Floral Oriental fragrances can also be melded with strong flowers such as rose and orchid. Soft Orientals are distinctly softer variations of the other Oriental scents with subtle sensual incense notes over fragrant flowers such as freesias and jasmine mixed with spices and amber. These scents are muted, not as heavy and rich as other fragrances in the Oriental family. Pure Oriental fragrances are intense blends of oriental resins, opulent flowers, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, tonka bean and musk often mixed with a light citrus or fruity top note like nectarine or peach. Woody Orientalsare predominately a blend of Woody and Oriental notes such as sandalwood and patchouli. The flowers and spices in these fragrances are secondary to the dominant and deep wood and mossy notes. These are the most exotic of the Oriental fragrances.
