L'ASCARI

L'ASCARI [luh-skahr-ee] An ancient word dating back to the Eleventh Century symbolising nobility, honour and courage. Luca Chiaravalle, Industrial Designer and Belinda Chiaravalle, Business Manager specialising in the cosmetics and fragrance industry combined their talents to begin their new venture: L'ASCARI Collections. They chose to create a new high quality brand - one which would not be obscured by the invasion of designer brands or passing fashions. L'ASCARI uses the finest quality materials and meticulous attention to detail in a handmade product produced exclusively in Australia.

The inspiration of committing to producing an artisan product is shown on the candle label with a photograph of the founders' ancestors home in Fontecchio, a tiny village in central Italy. Each L'ASCARI candle is made to order and hand numbered, thus avoiding mass production, with a maximum of only four candles being made at any one time using traditional artisan methods by hand pouring the wax and hand blending the perfumes.
